Community Involvement - St. Marys Chevrolet GMC

St. Marys Chevrolet GMC Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat joined forces and held a month long fundraiser for the David Smith family named I Drove For David. For every visit that resulted in a test drive at either dealership for the entire month of February, $10 was donated by the Auto Group to the Smith family in the name of the driver. The driver would then sign the donation coupon and it was posted on the windows of the dealership for all visitors to see. This event was advertised on Facebook, gathering many in the showrooms to simply Drive For David. With just over 240 test drives taken, the Auto Group presented David and his mother a check while they were on their way home from Pittsburgh. Baseball and Softball season is soon approaching! In order to get ready for the seasons, St. Marys Chevrolet GMC invited representatives from both the St. Marys Little League and the St. Marys Softball League to the dealership to present equipment and a monetary donation. Each year, both leagues are asked to choose equipment items that are needed to help run the league. Both leagues chose to order balls, tees, and bases to be used through the season (all donated by St. Marys Chevrolet GMC). St. Marys Chevrolet GMC contacted Mike Wendel, President of St. Marys Little League, and asked him to bring the members of the Board of Directors and some of their players to pick up the donations. A huge thank you to the Boards of baseball and softball and the kids for taking a few minutes to give us the opportunity to do this! Good luck to all players and coaches and best wishes on great seasons!

Our team, here at St. Marys Chevrolet GMC, collectively gathered $1,000 from our employees to donate to Project Gifts to Kids of Elk County. They made the donation in honor of the Dealer, Brian, and his family as a Merry Christmas gift. Mr. Heary, Vice President of Project Gifts for Kids of Elk County, joined in on the festivities to receive the check from Brian and his team. According to Mr. Heary, over 500 children in the local area will benefit from this year's campaign. St. Marys Chevrolet GMC's donation will assist to gather many of the miscellaneous items that were not already generously donated.
